Homa Moosavi
Hi! I'm Homa. I'm a UX designer based in the Seattle area. I earned my bachelor's degree at UW while working at the Seattle Children's Hospital and the UW Medical Center. I am also a longtime photographer and graphic artist, and wanted to a way to incorporate my creative side in my professional life. UX and data visualization is a powerful way to highlight inequalities, so I decided to return to school for UX education. I earned my MS in Information Management and User Experience in August 2021. Since then, I have interned at the City of Seattle, working on improving accessibility to social services, and worked at VNS Health, where I built dashboards highlighting healthcare data for business needs. I am passionate about using delightful design to improve accessibility for marginalized people in the healthcare space.
